CPA, means Cost Per Action. It basically means if you are a CPA marketer that you get paid every time a certain action is performed through your add or link. Unlike other forms of marketing it does not mean a sale has to be made. That’s right you don’t have to sell anything to get paid! That must mean that the payouts are really low right? No, just the opposite, many times CPA offers are more than other types of paid commision. How can they do that, you might be wondering? Believe me they make money on it and who really cares as long as they are reputable and you get paid. Who are they? CPA networks, like ClickBooth. You can even get paid for offering trials of products, in the 30 to 40 dollar range for getting people to try something. If you want to make more money than standard Clickbank products or other affiliate programs you really should be looking into CPA offers. I am giving it a try and so should you. I will post my progress with it as it seems appropriate. If you have any experiences or thoughts please help out the many subscribers to this blog and post your comments.

In the next article I will share specific tools and strategies you can use to benefit from this powerful part of the internet.
Think of the bookmarks on your web browser, this is a good example of bookmarking. Social bookmarking lets you organize book marks for a lot of your favorite websites and organize them with tags. A tag is just a keyword you use to categorize your bookmarks. Look at the bottom of this post, in small print you will see the tag l used for this post. Now you can use a tag to look up your favorite websites on that subject, but could someone else be interested in the sites you have found? Yes, this is where the social part comes in the bookmarks can be shared and then more people benefit. Other people can them rate or vote for the bookmarks making them a show of how popular a certain website can be.
Perhaps you are starting to see how this can benefit your website. The fact is your site will get more visibility, be indexed by the search engines more often and quickly, and just plain get you the traffic you want, if it is bookmarked. It will also help you rank better for the keywords you want most, in the natural search engine rankings. Also the people who use social bookmarking are the type of people who will probably contribute to your site content by commenting. These are all things you want to happen. You should definitely be using social bookmarking.
How, then, do you use this tool? That is what I will talk about in my next post on social bookmarking. Please feel free to share any thoughts, questions, or insights on this subject here by making a comment.

Unemployment, a condition affecting many people today and sending them in a flood to look for other means of income. Using the internet to make money is a good idea, however there are lots of people selling products to new marketers and taking advantage of there naivete. If you are trying to sell things online, sell other peoples products ( affiliate marketing ), or use Adsense, you can’t make a ton of money instantly. You can make profits and you can make a living, but it takes hard work and you will have to learn the ropes.
Don’t believe adds that tell you amazing profits in a few days, it will only give amazing profits to the guy selling the system or product. Also don’t believe, or be pressured to buy “limited time” or “limited copies” it is a psychological pressure tactic to get you to buy. Take your time, and do research. You should be able to find reviews of the product or service, including testimonials. Be careful with review sites some are just affiliates hopeful you will buy and they will get a commission, not that they can’t be honest wile doing that, just be aware.
There are marketing products and systems that legitimately work, just don’t jump on the first flashy add you see do your research on the company and product and you will be just fine. It ain’t no picnic out there in the internet jungle, but don’t give up you can make some money online too.

If you have a blog, and would like the simplest way of making money with it try . They will pay you to write blog posts on your website about companies and products, you choose the ones that are related to your blog’s content. They do have a few requirements for your blog to qualify though.

3. You must have at least 20 posts with no gap of 30 days between posts.
4. You must be 18 years old.
Read all of their documentation for any other requirements but it is really quite simple. Then they pay you to do something you were already doing writing blog posts. Make sure that your articles are truthful, well written, and interesting, and you are on your way. They also have a version 4.0 in which the people who want the the blog posts written choose you instead of the other way around, I haven’t had much experience with this yet. I will post more information when I have it.
Adsense, what is it and how can you use it to make money. Let’s start with what it is. Adsense is a program Google has for putting ads on your blog or website that are related to the content of your site. They do a very good job of making the ads relevant to the content of the pages the ads are displayed on. You can edit there color and size to match your site in order for it not to look out of place. It is free to sign up and you can link it with Google analytics which is also free and can help you manage your click rates.
Why would you want to do this? Google pays you for every time someone clicks on one of the ads! So how do you get people on your site to click on the ads from Google so you can get a paycheck? Provide valuable information. I know that everyone says this but there is a reason for that, it’s true. This is much easier to do on a blog. Write regularly about a subject you are passionate about, and that solves a problem and helps someone and you can help people and make money at the same time. This mutually beneficial arrangement is what makes it such a good thing in my view. Please don’t write a bunch of junk or copy other peoples blog posts! Create your own good content and be a benefit to the community, if you think in these terms and are diligent in posting you will be rewarded with a check in the mail from Google.
Make Money as an Affiliate
Sep 29
There are lots of ways to do affiliate marketing and there are a confusing amount of products out there to offer. The real question is what is the combination that will make money? The simple answer is, if you learn some basic principles and techniques you can find that out for yourself. So What we are going to do now is walk through some of the basics to give you that knowledge.
First let’s talk about methods people use.
1. Pay per click:
A. Direct linking: When Pay per click and affiliate marketing first met, direct linking worked very well. This method is now extremely limited by changes to Google policy and I think it worked for the good of search users, it is basically dead now as an affiliate. The process was you would right an Adwords ad and without a website you would link directly to the merchants site preferably the product you featured in the product. Now only one person can show a link to each individual domain so the actual website owner usually gets that link and you need to find another way to get your traffic to that site as an affiliate.
B. Landing pages: Many people find that purchasing a domain such as www.yourproduct.com and then creating a review of similar products or a nice sales copy page with there affiliate links added, they can direct Adwords traffic the merchant through there own simple landing page. You are more successful with this the more value you can add to the landing page. Also using tools provided by Google such as Google analytics, and Website optimizer you can test various changes to your landing page and increase sales which are called conversions, as well as clicks through your website to the merchant.
2. Writing articles:
Some have been very successful writing articles solving a problem in a platform such as squidoo that include their affiliate links.
3. Blogging:
A different approach is to write a blog that give important information, that helps solve a problem some might have and include an affiliate link in some of your posts that directs people to useful products and services that you have had experience with. I like this method myself and use it in this blog.
All of these methods have pros and cons. I have tried them all and have had measures of success with each one. You can also combine them such as use Pay per click to drive traffic to an affiliate blog post you have. If you plan on using Adwords that is a whole world unto itself. To get the help you need to be good at it, I highly recommend Free 5 Day email Course in Google Adwords, this will get you started. He also offers a more comprehensive course called The Definitive Guide to Google Adwords which I wouldn’t be without. It that is well worth the small price you pay, but you don’t need that just to get started, just start with the free email course. It is written by one of the most respected and successful people in internet marketing, Perry Marshall, and I know I couldn’t do it without the training and tips I learned from this course. If you plan to use Adwords you need this information it is that simple, plus it is FREE so how can you go wrong?
You can do this with nothing other than an affiliate account with clickbank and a free blog account. The key to successful blog affiliate marketing is to post good content and do it frequently. I would post every single day. If you can’t think of anything to write about try going to Yahoo answers and looking at the questions people are asking about your subject. Answer some of those questions on your blog and people will want to read about it. Then in a few of your posts simple include an affliliate link to a solid product that solves a related problem, you are on your way to some affiliate profits with no money output at all. This method works it just takes a lot longer and is slow to start off with.
“Millions of people make money on the internet every day why can’t I?” The answer is you can, and you are in the right place if you want to learn the basics of how to do it. However before we start into what you are going to learn let’s start with what you aren’t going to learn. If you want a get rich quick scheme, you are in the wrong place, and you better be prepared to fork over your money and get nothing in return. Money for free, is not what we are talking about, also you will need to put effort and time into learning and putting into practice these techniques. There is no such thing as a free lunch and you are not getting one here.
Now onto what I am going to share with you. Time tested practical information on the main ways you can make money on the internet. The ways are affiliate marketing, getting paid for blogging, selling products from your own website, and using Google Adsense. These methods work, but they take work, and if you are willing to put in a little time I would like to share some things I have learned along the way. This is the intorduction to a series of articles each covering one of the methods I have mentioned. If there is something else you would like to discuss please post a comment and I will do my best to cover it in a post. We can share together as we continue to learn together.
Now we need to talk about all of the specifics of using Twitter and what they mean. If you look at a typical Twitter account you could see all kinds of symbols and that can be a little confusing. So we are going to look at the specific use of the @ and # as applied to Twitter usage and how it can benefit your business.
First of all, the they are not as complicated as it first could seem. The @ symbol followed by a username such as @brainstormpc is just a way to send a reply to a specific person. This can also be very useful to you, as others can resend your tweets, this is called retweeting and basicly give you the endorsment of the person that retweets your message. It is a very complimentary thing to do and in Twitter etiqutte means you should thank the person doing it. How do you send a retweet? You simple put text before the @username like this: Look at This! @brainstormpc
Getting your followers to retweet you give you a great deal of validity it can really benefit your image online.
The next symbol is the hashtag or #. This little guy makes it possible to track a certain subject in Twitter. Let’s say you are looking to hire people you could put #applyforjob and anyone searching that will find your tweet much easier. It also makes it possible for people in your company to talk to communicate easily using your own set of hashtag indexs.
These are the common ways within Twitter to maximize the benefits to your company. There are also some tools that you are very good to have and I will discuss those in our next post about Twitter
Followers, why do you want them? For business it is a remarkable way to know your customers, what they want, need, and don’t like. This can lead you to more positive exposure, and loyal satisfied customers. The more people you have following you the more you benefit it is that simple.
The next question is then, how do you get these followers? We are going to talk about a few specifics, and some important principles, in the next post on this subject I will share more specific tools and strategies. One of the very first things you need to do is promote your Twitter profile on your website, blog, and other social media sites. Think of it as any website that you would direct traffic to. I have seen a lot of cable channels and specific shows ask for followers on twitter, you and I should be doing the same thing with the means at our disposal.
Content is king and you need quality content in your tweets. It is true that we only have 140 characters but that is why you have to make every one count. Now don’t over think this, just put up good quality without, being overbearing commercial. Try broadcasting important events and information that your customers would benefit from not transparent self promotion. You could run a simple poll on a topic, or even product preferences, on products you offer. I am not saying that you shouldn’t promote your company and products you should. However not with every Tweet and not without a real value to the readers in terms of information not just a sales pitch. Keep on working with twitter you will see benefits.
