trying to make mead from my own fresh honey. Do you know a good recipe? Have had good luck with your fruits wines before.

Your computer started up and then asked you for a password you know nothing about. Even before you get to the windows screen, there is a prompt for a password and nothing you do can get around it. If this sounds familiar ( and you didn’t set it and forget what you typed, or have a friend with a horrible sense of humor who set one for you when you were gone. ) then most likely you have a Toshiba laptop. There are several models of Toshiba that have a known defective bios release that will set a password on it’s own. The good news is Toshiba will most likely fix it for free if you are still under warranty.

If you are not under warranty it will require opening up your computer and physically resetting your bios. If that sounds tricky to you, then most likely you shouldn’t be doing it. Take your computer to a good local repair shop and after they fix it tell them to upgrade your bios firmware so that you never have to deal with this mess ever again.
